Full Day ToursCADILLAC LIMOUSINE

A full day tour takes in at least 4 of the wineries that make the Barossa famous.  You will also meet some of the old vignerons, fifth or sixth generation Australians who can trace their roots back to the first German immigrants to come to the Barossa.

A morning tea at a local bakery, plus a delightful bistro lunch, including wine by the glass are provided.

You may try a full range of Barossa wines, including those full bodied reds, straw coloured whites, sticky late picked, old ports and a wide range of other fortified wines.

For those who want to see more of South Australia, full day tours can be arranged to the Clare Valley or McLaren Vale wine growing regions, the old copper mining heritage town of Burra, the scenic Adelaide Hills, including Hahndorf, or go whale watching at Victor Harbor.   Back to Top

Half Day Tours

For those with limited time, a half day tour takes in at least 3 wineries including meeting some delightful characters and morning or afternoon tea.

While you may not get to experience the full variety the Barossa has to offer, you will get a good taste of the flavours of the Barossa.   Back to Top

Small Group Tours

Barossa Vintage Tours can also take small groups (of up to six) on a great day out. This is not a boozy all you can drink adventure but an enjoyable day with good friends, good wine, good food, a bit of fun, some good stories to tell at the next dinner party and heaps of memories.

Check out the great time had by this group from FLIGHTCENTRE in Brisbane. As a reward for exceeding their annul target they spent a weekend in the Barossa staying at one of the best self contained BnB’s – Jewel of the Valley in Tanunda

They travelled in style in the Kia Carnival – their comments included "heaps of room for us all" – "so easy to get in and out of" and "a great view – all windows!"

They visited 5 wineries including Jenke Vineyards at Rowland Flat where they got to meet the winemaker, Kym Jenke and the two resident winery Boxers.

The girls tasted the full range at most wineries but learnt early on that "spitting" was the way to go – if they had swallowed every sample they would not have lasted until lunch time!

Morning tea was at the famous Lyndoch Bakery where they enjoyed a selection of fresh baked cakes washed down with a cappuccino or tea.

At the end of the day they unloaded their purchases of mainly cellar door only specials and declared the day out a resounding success

Why not stay a little longer?  Barossa Vintage Tours can arrange a complete package for your visit to the Barossa Valley.

The Barossa Valley is renowned for the diversity, distinctive character, style and quality of Bed and Breakfast accommodation.  Special arrangements can be made with a number of operators.

Choices range from old to new, quaint to elegant, traditional or self-contained accommodation.  Open fires and antique furnishings are very popular.   There are township locations or rural settings, cute cottage gardens or country acreages, somewhere private for just the two of you or room for a party of  four or more.  Country style breakfasts will get you well through the day.  Let us know what you prefer and we will do our best to arrange it for you.

Packages may also include evening meals at on of the fine restaurants throughout the Barossa, or we can simply recommend somewhere that suits your tastes.   Back to Top
